REMINDER:  It’s Time To Report Your 2023 Prescription Data        

The 2021 Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) requires group and individual health plans to report annual data about prescription drugs and health care spending to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The last day to submit this data to CMS for the 2023 reference year is June 1, 2024.
 
Excellus BCBS will complete the required pharmacy benefit and prescription drug cost reporting for fully insured groups and self-funded groups. However, you must submit premium contribution information for the 2023 reference year to Excellus BCBS by April 12, 2024.

Target Optical And Pearle Vision Being Added To Vision Network        

Together with their partner, Davis Vision, Excellus BCBS is excited to announce the expansion of their network in 2024 with the addition of Target Optical and Pearle Vision. With this addition, members will be able to access more than 150,000 in-network points of eye care. This enhancement comes with no cost impact. Please note, not all locations are available immediately. Locations will be added throughout 2024. Please see the following vision flyer (PDF) for more information.

Important Reminder About Brand Use Request Process        

Brokers and agents must request use of the Excellus BlueCross BlueShield brand. This includes anything from the logo on your website, to mailings, collateral or advertising you create. To make it easier to request use, Excellus BCBS has created an overview, guidelines, and a request form (PDF). You can also access this information through Sales Hub. Please contact your account representative with any questions.
