Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, Catholic Health, and Catholic Medical Partners have reached a new long-term contract agreement. This will ensure Highmark BCBSWNY members will have continued access to care at Catholic Health hospitals and its comprehensive network of services.
After securing new contracts with all major hospitals and health systems in Western New York, Highmark is pleased to continue to offer their members the broadest network of high-quality providers. These long-term agreements will enable them to transform health care, support the local delivery system, and create greater value to their members.
While the details will be finalized in the coming weeks, the agreement will benefit the Western New York community by supporting Catholic Health programs, services, and caregivers, and creating joint value-based objectives for the health plan and hospital system to improve health outcomes and manage rising health care costs.
