Updates To Transparency Tools        

Excellus has made user interface enhancements to the Find A Doctor and Cost Estimator tools on their website. Members and guests will now be able to select multiple filters at once while avoiding zero result searches and adjust their search radius in increments as little  as 1 mile. Users can toggle between list and map view and compare important provider information by location. The changes will also allow for increased visibility and comparison of location attributes, reviews, quality information, and more. These updates to the transparency tools align with Excellus' mission to keep members informed and to ensure our resources are intuitive and easy to use.

While the changes will display for users regardless of whether they are logged into their online account or not, members are always encouraged to create and use an online account, as it will personalize results to identify which providers and facilities are in-network based on their specific plan.

It’s an opportunity to sell Rochester’s only 5-star rated Medicare plans outside of AEP– and a win for clients looking to move into a higher quality plan right now. Your clients can use the 5-Star Special Enrollment Period to make a one-time switch into one of the 5-star rated plans now through November 30, 2022.
