Important updates to Humana’s Rx Calculator and Humana.com

Learn about essential changes being made to Humana’s tools

It was recently discovered that Humana’s Rx Calculator and Humana.com were incorrectly quoting the $0 Rx Copay Benefit Model incorrectly for DSNP plans. These tools stated the filed cost-share instead of $0. To resolve this quickly, Humana has now added disclaimers to callout this benefit accordingly for each tool:
 
For the Rx Calculator, two new disclaimers have been added. A banner at the top of the tool reads, “For all D-SNP/DE-SNP, you must check the Eligibility Requirements infocon for information on the $0 Rx Copay Benefit pricing.”

Another disclaimer in the infocon reads, “$0 copays for all Part D prescription drugs all year long for D-SNP/DE-SNP members who qualify for ‘Extra Help.’”
 
On Humana.com, $0 will appear on the plan card and additional disclaimers will be added. Examples of these disclaimers include:

• “$0 copay for members who receive “Extra Help”
• “$0 copay for all Part D prescription drugs all year long for members who qualify for “Extra Help” 

These changes ensure you know how to correctly quote the benefit, and members have the most accurate and up-to-date information when it comes to the $0 Rx Copay Benefit for DSNP plans for 2023.
