New Online Provider Directory Enhancements Made

Introducing New Enhancements to the OLPD

Cigna is making enhancements to their systems and processes to help make it easier to do business with them. There have been some challenges with the online provider directory (OLPD) and Cigna is excited to share with you that they have made significant enhancements and they are now live!

The next time you go out to the OLPD, you will experience:

• Dramatically improved response times
• An easier time searching for providers
• Able to search with National Provider Identifier (NPI), group name or name
• Entering a partial name will auto type ahead/pre-populate the providers available
• Moved the Edit Search button to the top of the page
• For those who use an Apple product, clicking the "Back" button will no longer reset your search and make you start your search all over again
• We've expanded the search results from 10 providers to the ability to have 10, 25, 50 or 100 results presented per page
• A "Search by Name" field has been added to allow for a quick search of a provider, facility or pharmacy by name within your initial search results
• "Licensing Information" has been replaced by National Provider Identifier "NPI" reducing confusion and making it easier to include the customers' PCP on the application
