UPMC Sends SNP Direct Mail

UPMC for Life Complete Care (HMO SNP) plans continue to provide great coverage and important extra benefits for their members. To help spread the word about their SNP plans and the competitive benefits that come with them, they use targeted direct mail. The SNP direct mail initiative is sent out to Medicare and Medicaid eligible prospects on a quarterly basis.

Here’s some high-level information for each upcoming mailing for Q1:

• SNP Package 1—This letter mentions the $0 monthly plan premium and $0 copays. It also highlights that the UPMC for Life Complete Care (HMO SNP) plan includes up to $11,275 in additional yearly allowances for benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and over-the-counter wellness items. This package will be mailed in Western PA.
• SNP Package 2—This letter highlights the $0 monthly plan premium, $0 prescription copay, and $0 PCP and specialist copays. It also mentions in-network access, the award-winning Health Care Concierge team, and the plan’s most popular extra benefits. This package will be mailed in North Central and South Central PA.
• SNP Package 3—This letter focuses on extra benefits, including the rich allowances they offer for over-the-counter (OTC) products, healthy foods*, dental, vision, and hearing. This package will be mailed in all regions.

The first SNP direct mail packages are scheduled to be mailed beginning Jan. 18.
