UnitedHealthcare is committed to providing you tools and support during the 2025 Special Election Period (SEP) and are excited to share the 2025 SEP Resources page on Jarvis! This page was designed to make it easy for you to access the most relevant tools and information to support your SEP planning. Easily access the Medicare & Medicaid Verification tool, your state’s D-SNP enrollment guidelines, Part D resources and more
As was prevoilsy noted, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has rescinded the Emergency/Disaster Special Election Period (SEP) change that was scheduled to go into effect April 1, 2025. This means enrollments using the Emergency/Disaster SEP can continue to be submitted by an agent directly to UnitedHealthcare and agents will not need to redirect clients to 1-800-Medicare.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may have declared a weather-related emergency or major disaster in your state. Medicare beneficiaries affected may be eligible for a Special Election Period (SEP). You can access marketing materials that comply with CMS marketing requirements on the UHC Agent Toolkit by searching keyword “Disaster.”
