At UnitedHealthcare, they understand there’s not always a one-size fits all approach to support someone’s overall health. That’s why Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNP) can be a great option to cater to the specific health and wellness needs of eligible members or consumers. C-SNPs also provide a year-round opportunity to grow your book of business outside the traditional selling periods and may include extra benefits like our Over-The-Counter (OTC) & Healthy Food benefit. But before selling a UnitedHealthcare C-SNP, there are some things you should know:
To find out what C-SNP offerings are available in your area, please visit the Medicare Product Portal (Jarvis > Knowledge Center > Medicare Product Portal). And don’t miss one of UnitedHealthcare's live training sessions to learn more about the UnitedHealthcare C-SNP offerings and how you can help consumers find the right plan. And if you’re looking to brush-up on C-SNP, check out our Chronic Special Needs Plans Course in Learning Lab > Content Library > search Chronic Condition or our all-new quick reference guide at Jarvis > Knowledge Center > Selling Resources.
You can access our trainings by visiting Jarvis > Knowledge Center > Training & Certifications.
Jarvis has several self-service tools to help you manage your work and grow your book of business. Here are two of the most popular:

A few important call outs:
Did you know that there is a blackout period between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31 when External Distribution Channel (EDC) agents cannot make changes to their upline? That means an Intent to Move form must be submitted by May 31 to meet the 90-day waiting period before the Sept. 1 cutoff. Check out the Agent Guide to learn more.
And be sure to read the updates to the Monitoring Programs section and the Agent Complaint Process section. Recent changes are in red. Access the Agent Guide to learn more on Jarvis > Knowledge Center > Agent Guide.
Experience more convenience and efficiency with the new capabilities in Jarvis for AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans from UnitedHealthcare®.
