Here are examples of the cards members should be receiving in the mail:
Members will be receiving their ID card within 10 days of an approved application with their welcome kit.
Members with OTC benefits will automatically receive their OTC card, preloaded with their quarterly balance. The amounts roll over every quarter but will not roll over to 2023. Members can use these in store, online and over the phone at Walmart, and in store at CVS.
The OTC cards come in a 8X11 white envelope to accommodate the catalog, labeled
Anthem recommends downloading the healthy benefits app so members can:
Members on the MediBlue Dual Advantage Select HMO plan will automatically receive their grocery card, preloaded with $50/month. The cards reload the 1st of the month, and the balance does not carry over. Members can use this card at Walmart, Stop & Shop, CVS & Shaws.
The grocery cards come in a standard white envelope, labeled
not an Anthem branded envelope.
Members on the MediBlue Dual Advantage Select HMO plan that elected Flex Card as their Essential Extra will be receiving their pre-loaded $500 flex card to be used for dental/vision/hearing.
Members on the MediBlue Dual Advantage Select HMO plan will need to call into member services on the back of their card to initiate Healthy Pantry. There is no qualifications that need to be met, but they do need to call in to initiate the Healthy Pantry benefit.
Members on the MediBlue Dual Advantage Select HMO plan, MediBlue Dual Access PPO plan, and the MediBlue Prime plan will need to call into member services on the back of their card to initiate their PERs benefit. Once initiated, members will receive a box with the PERs unit and instructions on setting it up. Once they press the button, Best Buy Health will help them set it up in their house.
