Help with OTC and flex benefits

Do your customers have questions about their OTC and/or flex benefits? They can call NationsBenefits customer service at 877-880-8874 (TTY: 711), daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For self-service, your customers can access the NationsBenefits portal by visiting geisinger.nationsbenefits.com They can use the portal to:

  • Search for retail locations
  • Search for products
  • Activate or replace cards
  • Update shipping address
  • Place an order for OTC items

D-SNP plan selection

As a reminder, your customers can select a new D-SNP plan every three months. Now’s a good time to help them either determine their eligibility for a D-SNP plan or re-evaluate their current plan to be sure it’s meeting their needs.

Special election periods

During lock-in, remember that your clients may qualify for special election periods (SEPs). Some brokers have had clients who wanted to come to Geisinger but didn’t think they had a qualifying SEP — when in fact they did. Consider PACE/PACENET, D-SNP, residential changes and many others.
