New Enrollment Kits for AARP Medicare Supplement Plans

New Enrollment Kits and applications reflecting underwriting changes will be available and required soon for AARP^® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans from UnitedHealthcare^® in South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Washington D.C. The new applications will be included instate-specific Enrollment Kits that will be available on December 15, 2023 for plan effective dates of January 1, 2024 and later. Please limit your orders of enrollment kits to avoid using incorrect applications in December.

The following underwriting changes are being made and will be reflected on the application:

• Made some minor changes to existing health questions
• Added some new health questions
• Grouped together related health questions
• Extended the lookback period to 5 years for certain medical conditions

Please plan to download or order new Enrollment Kits on December 15, 2023. As of December 15, 2023, you must use the new kit to ensure you are submitting the correct application.
