Here are a few 1099 form reminders as we begin the new year:
Start the new year off right by reminding your clients how they can get the most out of their 2025 plan. As America’s most chosen Medicare Advantage brand with more than 45 years of experience, you and your clients can count on UnitedHealthcare for reliable Medicare coverage, which includes access to $0 annual wellness visits and $0 preventive care.
For many UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members, filling a prescription is often one of their first experiences with their plan. Help your clients with a UnitedHealthcare Part D plan know what to expect, including if their plan has a deductible and how it works. The UnitedHealthcare member site also makes it easy for members to sign up for mail order pharmacy, track their prescription drug costs and more. Review the 2025 Part D program details and Medicare Prescription Payment Plan FAQs (see page 5) in the Part D Overview – 2025 Agent Quick Reference Guide (found in Jarvia) or find “What is the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan?” on uhc.com.
The UnitedHealthcare UCard® is a member ID card and so much more. As Medicare Advantage members begin to use their 2025 UnitedHealthcare UCard, keep in mind:
For most Medicare Advantage members, the 2025 UCard includes a magnetic stripe, making it easier for members to use available credits when shopping in-store. Members can simply swipe their UCard at a participating store’s checkout, just like any other debit or credit card. They can find the 3-digit security code on the back for online shopping. Note: UnitedHealthcare is continuing to work with a few retailers to enable mag stripe technology. View the latest UCard retail information and resources to see which retailers are impacted. Members can learn more on UHC.com.
UCard has many more benefits and features. Read more to learn how members can take advantage of their UCard in Jarvis.
Get ready for 2025 by reviewing your commission details and knowing what to expect. Commission payments for eligible Medicare Advantage plan and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) enrollments with 2025 effective dates were reflected on your Jan. 1, 2025, commission statement.
View three commission job aids in the “Commission Statements and Direct Deposit” Learning Lab training.
At this time, premium gyms and fitness locations are not displayed on the consumer website UHCRenewActive.com; however, they remain in the Renew Active network. Some Medicare Advantage plans, all Group Medicare plans and all AARP Medicare Supplement Plans with Renew Active® provide access to premium locations.

UnitedHealthcare values your feedback on how they can best support you and their members. You may receive an email from TRC Market Research, an independent research firm, on Tuesday, Jan. 7, reminding you to complete the Annual Agent Survey. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not see the survey invite in the next few days.
This survey is an important tool that UnitedHealthcare uses to gather your feedback and improve your experience. As always, you can also share feedback with your local UnitedHealthcare leaders.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to provide feedback.
Beginning April 1, 2025, individuals wishing to use the Disaster/Emergency Special Election Period (SEP) must call 1-800-MEDICARE to make an election. Medicare Advantage Organizations and Part D Sponsors will no longer accept elections directly from beneficiaries using the Disaster/Emergency SEP. Plans will receive Disaster/Emergency SEP elections only via download from the Health Plan Management System (HPMS) Online Enrollment Center Management module. This change will be effective for all enrollment requests with an application date on or after April 1, 2025.
