Tools to support your this AEP
Marketing for Medicare Advantage has begun and enrollments will start next week for 2025 plan year. We know how important it is to quickly find what you need as you meet with and enroll consumers. Here is a highlight of the tools you can count on for a smooth enrollment process:
UnitedHealthcare knows Medicare eligibles are increasingly tech-savvy. That’s why UHC is meeting them where they are at – online, with a fully digital experience! Plus, 9 out of 10 digitally engaged members felt more confident about their enrollment and plan selection.*
New in 2025, members in all plans can register their account online, which allows them to track their application status and UCard shipment right after enrollment. Data shows clients with the ability to track app status and UCard shipment results in fewer complaints to Medicare!** Plus, having digital, self-service tools available to members means more time for you to focus on answering the more complex questions.
View the Member Site and Mobile App 2025 Agent Quick Reference Guide to learn how you can support members, set them up to track their application and UCard shipment and take advantage of all their online features.

As a reminder, the UnitedHealthcare Agent of Record (AOR) retention policy is aimed at providing agents peace of mind so you can focus on new business.
If a current UnitedHealthcare member enrolls in another qualifying UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan through Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), via web or with a paper application without the assistance of a renewal-eligible agent any time throughout the year, and has no gap in coverage, the original AOR will be retained immediately.* The member’s new plan and effective date will be updated on your Book of Business report within 5 business days of the approved plan change application. Associated commissions will continue without interruption if eligibility requirements have been met. Agents must be an active selling agent and credentialed for the member’s new plan (e.g., appropriately licensed, appointed and product certified).
Plus, UnitedHealthcare is making it even easier to stay on top of your application status and Book of Business Medicare Advantage updates this AEP with two new Jarvis notifications. Now you’ll see a notification when your client initiated a plan change and you remained the agent of record.
Your AOR status will be retained when members make a plan change from a UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage (MA), Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MA-PD), Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) or Chronic Special Needs Plan (C-SNP) to another UnitedHealthcare MA, MA-PD, D-SNP or C-SNP.
Note: Stand-alone Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), Medicare Supplement Insurance and Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMP) are not included in the AOR retention policy.
Simply continue to provide service to members as you always do. Assess their needs, answer their questions and facilitate enrollment, if appropriate. Learn more about AOR in the Agent of Record section of the Agent Guide.
* Your AOR status will be retained when members make a plan change from any UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage (MA), Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD), Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP) or Chronic Special Needs Plan (CSNP) to another UnitedHealthcare MA, MAPD, DSNP or CSNP.
You'll notice quite a few enhancements in our benefit marketing materials. We invite you to leverage these materials as your clients put our benefits to work for them.
We combined dental, vision and hearing benefits into one flyer which allows agents to talk about all three Medicare Advantage plan benefits in one flyer. Search using the names below.
Find OTC benefit flyers, social media ads, floor banners and postcards quicker and easier by using the new search feature on the UHC Agent Toolkit home page. Access materials to promote OTC benefits in C-SNP, D-SNP and Medicare Advantage plans by clicking on the “Make the Most of OTC Materials” tile at the bottom of the page.
