The changes in Tennessee have been identified as a frequently asked question and UnitedHealthcare wants to make sure agents are aware in case there are questions.
The below message has been sent to all TN agents who have recently written DSNP business:
Starting Jan. 1, 2025, there will be changes to how UnitedHealthcare D-SNP members in Tennessee will be able to use their UCard® credits.
Changes include:
Reminder: Members can view their Annual Notice of Change for more information.
To support, they attempting to pre-qualify D-SNP members for the healthy food benefit for the 2025 plan year. If they cannot pre-qualify a member, that member can ask their provider to fill out the benefit verification form on pages 31-32 of the 2025 Enrollment Guide (with form). You can order the “2025 Enrollment Guide (with form)” on the Sales Materials Portal on Jarvis.
