What’s new with DSNPs for 2023?

Meet the Healthy Options allowance

Included in 100% of DSNPs, the Healthy Options allowance can be accessed through the Humana Spending Account card and offers up to $1,800 a year for eligible essentials like groceries, over-the-counter (OTC) items, utilities, rent assistance and more. Formerly the Healthy Foods Card, the new Healthy Options allowance helps eligible members get what they need, when they need it. Dental coverage

90% of all DSNPs now include a yearly dental allowance of up to $5,000. This coverage comes with 2 free cleanings and can cover fillings, extractions, oral surgery and more. All non-cosmetic dental services are covered at 100%, up to the allowance amount.

$0 RX copay for all DSNP members

100% of DSNP members can now receive all their Medicare covered Part D prescriptions, including name-brand medications*, paying no deductible and a $0 copay: all tiers, all phases, all year long. The $0 Rx copay benefit applies to DSNP members who are on LIS or receive Extra Help. DSNP members also pay nothing for 8 routine vaccines, including shingles, at any network pharmacy. It’s just one more way Humana goes above and beyond to provide human care.
